Talis Gallery Jerusalem

Contemporary Art Gallery in Jerusalem.

TaLis Gallery Jerusalem was founded in September 2022 by artists Shimon Gorodetsky, Maria Potapenkova and architect Larisa Talis. Initially, our art space was located in the Beit Alliance building, where we opened not only a gallery, but also art studios for children and adults (Talis Art Studio), as well as lectures on contemporary art.

Events: We host a variety of events, including open calls, art markets, contemporary art exhibitions, lectures, and discussions with invited experts. Over the course of our work, we have organized 15 exhibitions, in which more than 150 professional artists took part. We have also held more than 100 master classes and more than 200 lectures in three languages.

Our mission: We welcome the participation of artists from different cultures who speak different languages. We also actively participate in and organize socially significant projects. In the spring of 2023, together with the children of our studios and their parents, at the initiative of the Jerusalem Municipality, we painted a 250-meter wall in a school for special children in Ein Karem. We also held a slime master class for 46 children with ASD.

ArtNeuroVerse Biennale Project: Together with the co-founders of our gallery, the mother of an autistic child Ekaterina Prasova and the curator of our gallery, Ekaterina Finkelstein, we are developing a large socially oriented project ArtNeuroVerse Biennale. This unique initiative is dedicated to supporting the creative development and self-realization of children and adults with autism and other neurodiversities. Our goal is to show the world the diversity of neurodiversities through art and to help overcome stereotypes and prejudices.

Partnership and suggestions: We are actively developing and are open to partnerships and suggestions. We will be glad to cooperate with other organizations, artists and enthusiasts who share our values and passion for art.
