Dear parents of teenagers aged 14-16!

Boyar International School in Jerusalem has been opening enrollment for the preparatory online (!) program “A Taste of IB” for the third year in a row.

This is a program for those students who will be entering 10th or 11th grade in 2025.

Most of the graduates who completed this program are currently studying in 10th or 11th grade at the school. The school also has students who previously studied at Russian schools such as “Intellectual”, “Donskaya Gymnasium”, etc.

The school has an international composition. Most of the students are Israeli-born teenagers, about 30% are olim or children from different countries temporarily living in Israel.

The course is designed for those who:

1. Are currently in Israel and are looking for a high school for next year.

2. Live outside of Israel, but are considering studying in Israel and/or studying under the IB program next year (2025/26).

IB (International Baccalaureate) is a secondary education system, the graduates of which have the opportunity to enter the most prestigious universities in the world. The language of instruction in the IB system is English. The IB diploma is an internationally recognized “school certificate”, and the IB system is the absolute leader in the field of international education. In Israel, graduates with an IB diploma can enter all the leading universities in the country: this diploma is not only trusted, it is also highly valued by the admissions committees of Israeli universities.

The Boyar School, which offers the International Baccalaureate program, is one of the oldest and best schools in Israel.

The goal of the “A Taste of IB” program is to introduce students to the IB system, as well as improve their spoken English skills.

The course is designed for 22 weeks, from November to June.

Classes are taught in English once a week. Course leaders: Anna Zinder* and David Kriksunov**. Both are well-known teachers who most recently worked at the famous “Orange” school in St. Petersburg.

Those who successfully complete the course will have priority right to enroll in the Boyar International school (all other things being equal). The school provides a scholarship of up to 50% for those who need it. The cost of the course: 750 shekels for the entire period of study (can be paid in installments, so the payment will be 125 shekels per month).
