In Leo Bek, Haifa, a "Meeting with a Story" club is opening under the leadership of special educator and specialist in children's learning problems Neta Alon. The club is suitable for children in grades 1 and 2 who are learning to read in Hebrew and are experiencing difficulties.
"The process of mastering reading requires a lot of practice and is sometimes associated with various difficulties. During the lesson, we will read a story together and come up with games related to the book we read, and also give the opportunity to practice reading in a fun and friendly atmosphere, which will reduce the fear of practice and increase motivation for reading."
The club will help improve reading skills, increase vocabulary and get rid of the fear of a new language.
