"Evening of Non-Random Discoveries"

Jerusalem District / Jerusalem
8 - 12 years
Russian, Hebrew

Good afternoon!
On September 18 at 5:00 p.m. I invite children aged 9-11 to the "Evening of Non-Random Discoveries".
It will be held in Jerusalem, in the Nachlaot matnas.
The first question children ask about any meeting is: "What are we going to do?"
In October, I plan to open a "Experiment Workshop" club. During its classes, children will come up with and conduct various natural science experiments.
We will learn to find questions about the world around us, invent a way to test our hypothesis, conduct simple experiments, and share the results with others.
It is not by chance that I wrote "we" here. Of course, any improvisation should be carefully prepared. Some input will be offered by me. However, it often happens that children offer their own unexpected solutions, and I always have something to learn from them.
I suggest starting with an introduction. Let's meet in the courtyard of the matnas Nachlaot (Ole Moshe, 42) to find answers to three questions:
* Why does the eucalyptus have a spotted trunk?
* How does blood rise through the veins?
* How can sugar become poison?

Cost - donation from 15 shekels. It would be great if you brought something for tea.

Please register in this form. It is important for us to understand the number of participants.
