‼️Enrollment for the new academic year 2024-2025 has been open since May for the author’s program “Cultural Studies for Children” ‼️

📢 We study the past to understand the present and look into the future! 😲

✅ What is cultural studies and why do children need it? 😲

- This is an interdisciplinary approach to studying the human world.

✅ "By traveling with the people of the Paleolithic era, we understand how people settled around the globe; at the same time, it is impossible to ignore the geography and climate of different continents in this era; as well as biology (fauna and flora) and paleontology. Having understood that geographical regions on earth are very different, then you can understand the reasons for the emergence of different cultures, and both anthropology and ethnography help with this; having found out many nuances from the life of the society of ancient tribes, communities and peoples, you can decipher many aspects of mythology that seem at first glance; creepy and incompatible with people’s lives. Well, we study all this within the generally accepted historical framework. A lot of new information is given in the course, discoveries of the last 20 years 😲.

But classes are held not only in the form of lectures or stories, where there is one narrator and several listeners. No. All classes are built on the principle of discussions and conversations. And before learning the currently leading scientific hypothesis, students learn to express their assumptions, build their theories and hypotheses. And most importantly: we all learn to think! 😲

And this is a very important skill, especially in our time!

✅ The course is multifaceted. It is impossible to learn so much in one year, which is why the course is designed for several years.

But exactly 1 year is the ancient Stone Age (Paleolithic) in the history of the Earth.

✅ But that's not all.

Each lesson has a practical part: children will learn to cut, sculpt, and construct models of historical and natural objects; they will draw a lot 👩‍🎨 (but this is not a drawing class!)

✅ All classes are held in an unusual environment - this is not just an office in the Attic, it is a real mini museum on the history and culture of ancient peoples. And the setting itself already introduces the children to the wonderful world of history.

I spend the first lesson of the school year in the נחל מערות nature reserve, so that it is immediately clear what we will be doing during the year.

‼️Author of the course:

- culturologist (diploma with honors from the Russian State University for the Humanities, Moscow - teacher of culturology - diploma confirmed in Israel);

And

- artist (Israeli artist status has been confirmed in the country);

- pediatrician (diploma from Russian State Medical University, Moscow)

Currently there is one group - 3 years; one group - 2 years; two first year groups (younger 6-9 years old and older 10+). 😲

‼️Enrollment for 1st year groups for next year is open:

For the youngest from 6 years old;

In the eldest from 10 years old.

‼️Preliminary: days of classes or Sunday or Wednesday (evening from 17.00 or 18.00)

‼️Duration of classes:

Junior group - 1 hour;

Senior group - 1.5 hours.

In addition to cultural studies, there are also clubs:

- biology 🍀🌼(from 9 years old),

- modeling from plasticine and the surrounding world (Plasticine laboratory) - from 4 years;

- Great artists 👩‍🎨 (acquaintance with the work of Great artists, most of the twentieth century) - from 6 years;

- Introduction to fairy tales (from 3 years old).
