●On April 13 (Sunday, the first day of Passover), we offer you to go on a fascinating excursion to Lower Galilee.
⛰️Our route will begin with an ascent to Mount Tabor (Tabor), which, according to legend, is considered the place of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ. Jesus climbed this mountain on foot with three of his closest disciples and “was transfigured before them: and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.”
🏞We will climb to the top of Tabor by minibuses from the village of Daburia, visit the monastery located on the top of the mountain and admire the beautiful view of the entire north of Israel from Carmel to Mount Hermon.
▪︎Then we will go to the village of Kfar Kama - one of two villages founded in Palestine in the 19th century by Circassian refugees from the Caucasus. 🫓We will meet with representatives of the Circassian community, visit the ethnographic museum, hear about the history and culture of the Circassians, have a traditional treat (chebureki) and take a tour of the village streets.
▪︎From Kfar Kama we will go to Kfar Cana (Cana of Galilee).

In this village, more than 2000 years ago, Jesus performed his first miracle - turning water into wine at a wedding feast. We will visit the Temple built on the site of this miracle, and then we will have the opportunity to taste and purchase wines from the best Israeli producers. 🍷
