Paleolithic - Neolithic...
Stone Age, yes, Stone Age...
Old Stone Age, New Stone Age...It seems that all this was a long time ago... and everyone has long forgotten what and when was there. But is it so?!
Many discoveries of the Neolithic era (New Stone Age) are still used by people:
- agriculture;
- domestication of small and large cattle;
- ceramics;
- production of fabrics.Weaving first began, approximately, 7000 - 6000 years BC.
And, what is interesting, both from flax and wool, at the same time. And the birthplace of this type of craft is Catal Huyuk (translated from Turkish - "double hill"), a Neolithic settlement in the southeast of modern Turkey.
The children will learn about this and many other discoveries in the cultural studies club. And they try to do many things for the first time themselves.
