Classes on the subject "Mythology of Ancient Greece"

We invite teenagers aged 10-15 to individual and group lessons on the subject:
MYTHOLOGY OF ANCIENT GREECE
During the course, the student becomes familiar with the cultural tradition of the society of Ancient Greece, its Indo-European roots and subsequent evolution.
The mythological expression of this tradition and its connections with the history of ancient Greek and Hellenistic societies are considered.
The phenomenon of magical thinking and mythological ideas about the world around us are studied. The student learns to understand the difference in the mythological, philosophical and religious interpretation of the world and human self-perception.
Children gain experience of the first awareness of abstract philosophical ideas and analysis of religious concepts. They understand the connection between mythical plots and the realities of everyday human life.
Using the example of a comprehensively developed mythological tradition of Ancient Greece, students build an understanding of the versatility of various human cultures and the dissimilarity of their reflection of the real world.
The course moves from the study of archaic mythological prototypes to the closest and most understandable to modern man heroic images.
The course MYTHOLOGY OF ANCIENT GREECE can be studied simultaneously with the course on the History of Ancient Greece or the course on Russian Literature.
Courses are also taught on the Mythology of Ancient Egypt, German-Scandinavian Mythology, Chinese Mythology and Mythology of India.
Classes are held on the Zoom platform.
The cost of individual lessons: 15 euros per hour; lessons in a group of 2-4 students: 16 euros (for the whole group); in a group of 5-8 students: 4 euros for each student.
